The construction of the Health City is a strategic investment of the Health Fund. It is an international health complex with “health industry as the core and health technology as the driving force”. Three candidate locations are: the Yangtze River Delta, Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Economic Band, and Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. It is planned to be composed of five groups: health business area, health exhibition area, health technology area, health manufacturing area and health living area, with a total investment of more than 100 billion yuan.
As the world’s first health gathering demonstration area built based on the sustainable development goal of the United Nations, the Health City takes health conference, health technology, health business, health care, nursing and health care, health manufacturing, health tourism as its main functions, and has supporting functions such as exhibition business, cultural leisure, health care and pension, ecological habitat, etc. The vision establishing a “health service industry + health manufacturing industry + health science and technology industry” for the world is to build the world’s first human health promotion demonstration zone, the global health demonstration zone of the community of the future and the most influential new highland of health industry.
The overall construction concept of the Health City is: to deeply connect with the United Nations 2030 sustainable development goals, global health governance and the great initiative and vision of building a community with the future. According to the development requirements of “integration of industry and city, suitable for Industry and living”, we will integrate the core of health service industry, health manufacturing industry, and health technology industry with exhibition, science and technology, business, capital, business culture, digital economy, headquarters economy, high-end manufacturing industry, and ecological human settlements, to create a large-scale international health complex and health gathering area. It will become a healthy city with global demonstration significance in promoting the sustainable development goals of the United Nations, the improvement of global health governance, and the great vision of the community of the future.
